Dr Barry Oulton

Dr Barry Oulton obtained his B.Ch.D from Leeds, the Diploma in Post-Graduate Dental Studies from Bristol and received the highest level ‘Masters’ qualification from the Rosenthal Institute New York and is Senior UK Instructor for Dr Larry Rosenthal both in the UK and USA

Dr Barry Oulton obtained his B.Ch.D from Leeds, the Diploma in Post-Graduate Dental Studies from Bristol and received the highest level ‘Masters’ qualification from the Rosenthal Institute New York and is Senior UK Instructor for Dr Larry Rosenthal both in the UK and USA.

He has gained considerable experience in cosmetic and functional dentistry having completed all levels of the Dawson Institute and lectures for Nti-tss, DMG and Septodont.

Having run his practice in Haslemere for 14 years, Barry has pursued a continued interest in expanding his skills base and experience. This allows him, with the help of his committed team, to provide the highest quality of care accepting referrals for full mouth dentistry, headaches, implants, and functional rehabilitation.

Most recently Barry has set up a CT scan referral scheme, servicing local practices and their patients in having the lowest dose, highest quality CT scans at a competitive price. He is also launching the Surrey Implant Centre in June this year, providing an implant referral clinic and mentorships for local practices.

Dr Basil Mizrahi

Graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1989. Obtained an MSc in Dentistry with a major in Periodontics in 1993. Left South Africa in 1995 to specialise for 3 years full time in Prosthodontics and Implant dentistry at Louisiana State University, USA. Trained under the leadership of Dr Gerard Chiche, a leading world authority on aesthetic dentistry. While specialising also obtained a Masters degree in Education. Recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Prosthodontics and Restorative dentistry. Full time referral private practice specialising in Complex Rehabilitation and Aesthetic Cases and Dental Implants. Honorary Clinical Teacher, UCL Eastman Dental Institute Runs hands-on Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry¯ courses Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.¯ Publishes and lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. Dr Carol Tait

Dr Carol Tait graduated with honours from Dundee University and worked in general practice for many years before returning to academia.

Dr Carol Tait graduated with honours from Dundee University and worked in general practice for many years before returning to academia. She obtained a Masters degree in Endodontics from the University of Stellenbosch in 1998 and then became a Lecturer in Endodontics at the University of Dundee where she completed her specialist endodontic training in 2004.

She is an experienced endodontist who practices three days a week at the esteemed Edinburgh Dental Specialists where she treats referrals case from throughout Scotland and the north of England. She also works as a Senior Clinical Teacher in Endodontics at the University of Dundee providing undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic teaching two days a week and frequently delivers postgraduate courses throughout Scotland.

Dr David Murnaghan

David Murnaghan qualified from Queens University Belfast in 2006. He completed a year long implant certificate at age 24 with Dr Raj Patel in 2007 and has continued to be mentored by Dr Patel up until the present day.

David has worked in several private practices North and South of the border in Ireland. He has placed and restored over 500 implants and also carried out many smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations.

Since qualification David has invested in numerous postgraduate courses including a year long Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry Certificate at the Eastman UCL in 2009. He became a member of the Joint Dental Faculties RCS (Eng) in 2010. David is now Director of the Northern Ireland Division of the Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons England and is the youngest ever director of this at age 32.

In 2012 David set up Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic initially as a squat practice and this has progressed into a bespoke 5 surgery practice in the Old Courthouse building in Navan town centre. Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic was recently voted Best New Dental Practice in Ireland 2016. David was also a Finalist in the Rising Star category at the Irish Dental Awards 2016.

As evidence of the commitment to clinical excellence Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic has invested in a Sirona CBCT scanner (for which he is a Key Opinion Leader in Ireland) to aid implant treatment planning and accepts referrals from practices North and South of Ireland.

In 2016 David has spoken at events on both Implant Dentistry and the Business of Dentistry across Ireland and the UK. He has been mentoring local practitioners within the Implant field for over 5 years.

David is married to Carol they have 3 kids and David enjoys escapism through playing competitive Waterpolo.

Dr Dev Patel

Dr Dev Patel is the Director of implant programmes and principal teaching fellow at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He received his BDS at King’s College London in 1991 and worked as an Oral surgeon at various teaching hospital in and around London.  

Dr Dev Patel is the Director of implant programmes and principal teaching fellow at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He received his BDS at King’s College London in 1991 and worked as an Oral surgeon at various teaching hospital in and around London.  His interests in implantology led him to Prosthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Institute, where he received the M.Clin.Dent in Prosthodontics with distinction in 2000. Dev is a dual registered specialist in Prosthodontics and Oral surgery. He is the Programme Director for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry which he developed and has been running since 2007. Other responsibilities include Chair of the examiners for the diploma in implant dentistry as well as examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, England. His active interests are in teaching and training in implant dentistry and lecturers in both the surgical and prosthodontic aspects of implant dentistry on a national and international level.

Dr Dominic Oā€™Hooley

Mr Dominic O’Hooley qualified as a dentist in 1993 and after working within the hospital environment, has worked exclusively within private dentistry for over twenty years.

After completing his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002, he was selected for their prestigious two-year implant diploma, regarded as gold standard implant training by the GDC. Dominic has been placing and restoring implants for 10 years and is experienced in full arch rehabilitations, both delayed and immediately loaded. He offers mentoring in soft tissue surgery, block bone grafting, sinus surgery and all aspects of GBR. Dominic has a particular interest in rehabilitation of the terminal dentition and also - implant work in the aesthetic zone. 

Dr Ian Dunn Specialist Periodontist

Ian is a Specialist Periodontist, Senior Clinical Teacher and Teaching Lead in Periodontics at Liverpool University. He spends most of his week in Private practice where takes referrals for all aspects of periodontology and peri-implant problems.

Ian also lectures around the UK with Phil Ower and the PerioCourses team.

Ian is the British Society of Periodontology Honorary Editor and Webmaster and is also part of their Lecturing Faculty.  

Dr James Russell

James has been awarded the highly prestigious British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) Accreditation in recognition of excellence in cosmetic dentistry, the youngest dentist to achieve this.

James' work has been widely published in the dental press and he regularly lectures and instructs dentists on the art and science of cosmetic dentistry both in the UK and abroad, recently he has helped develop new techniques with the Inman Aligner to promote the provision of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.

His opinions and skills are heavily featured in magazines, on radio and since 2009 James has been the dental expert providing advice and treatment on Channel 4s highly popular, BAFTA winning, Embarrassing Bodies program.

James is a director of Straight Talk Seminars, the official providers of the Inman Aligner Certification course and UK clinical opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent's E.max system.

Dr John Moore

Dr John Moore is a private GDP from Plymouth in Devon who uses Cerec for all his cosmetic smile makeovers, as well as single and multiple unit restorative projects.

For eight years John has developed Cerec techniques and taught other dentists how to benefit from Digital dentistry and believes that Cerec is what makes his practice thrive financially, even in a very competitive and low income area.

A great fan of the recent Cerec software revolution and material developments, John feels that all cosmetic orientated practices can now learn high quality Cerec cosmetic techniques with ease, and benefit clinically and financially. His style is to teach practical advice and working techniques for busy practitioners who wish to embrace the advantages of digital dentistry.

John became an ISCD Cerec Trainer in Dubai in 2007 and with his brother Dr Paul Moore in Galway, Ireland has had articles published and spoken extensively on digital dentistry for practitioners.
